PART 2: Ethical Use of Technology and Digital Marketing
Просмотров 366 лет назад
In part two of the discussion of ethical uses of technology and digital marketing, we get significantly more practical, ultimately concluding that... "If we passively let leaders of technology and business tell us what we need and we don't think critically as we consume and participate with what they've given us, we will end up doing the same thing: telling people they need things they don't, m...
PART 1: Ethical Use of Technology and Digital Marketing

There is no one clear answer to the questions "what is the correct use of technology?" and "what is ethic digital marketing?" There are, though, several things that we can identify as incorrect uses of technology and unethical modes of digital marketing. In part one of this two-part lesson in a Digital Marketing course, we begin this discussion. NOTE: The camera stopped recording around the 50 ...

Did Larry David Use My Suggested Idea For Curb Your Enthusiasm?!
Просмотров 4386 лет назад
On September 15, 2016 I mailed Larry David an idea for an episode, and in Season 9 that exact moment became a critical point for the season. I mailed him before production had began, and thought he may like the idea if he'd ever read it. AND IT HAPPENED. IT HAPPENED. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!

    One of the greatest books i’ve ever read-so much is condensed into so few pages-even though it is a story;a tall tale as the author himself wrote in his introduction. It is much more than a story and might have been written for this generation. The plot against mankind certainly rings an alarm bell nowadays with the NWO proscribing free speech and trying to destroy democracy with lies and deception. This latter are the N.I.C.E. and don’t doubt they will be utterly destroyed as Belbury and Edgestow in the novel. Replies have to remain unread-i have been spending far to much time-wasting it would be more apt,responding to them. Instead write your own views-that’s what this part of youtube is for, after all. ( You deal with the replies and find out why i put this statement! It’s an unpaid chore. 😀😀

    What were the lectures you watched? I tried looking up the name but couldn’t find it. This book has truly fascinated me way more than it should over the past year and I’ve been digesting everything that I can find on it. I first read it over 20 years ago and re-read it last year as I was reading the first two books to my boys and it has gripped me deeply and begun shaping me anew with its insights into our struggles as human beings in need of God. So, if you have a link I’d love to have it to follow up on deeper teaching into this wonderful book.

      Hello father! Unfortunately the lectures were taken down years ago. She told me that she recorded those and some students didn't provide permission for them to be included in the video, so she had to take them down. They were SO good.

    God changes people. God redeems people. God only redeems those he predestined to redeem. Everyone started out thinking the things of God are foolish, and there is no way they will ever change their mind without God changing them. God does not charm people into change. God just changes people. God frequently places people in situations that get them thinking differently from what they had before, but the actual change needed for trusting in Christ is done by God. Without the Holy Spirit within a person, they cannot appreciate their need for Christ's work on their behalf. God follows his own plan, at the time he preordained, he applies Christ's redemptive payment to that particular person, places his Holy Spirit in him, changes his heart, and gives him faith. It is all done by God. When the man says, "I now believe in Christ as my savior," he is showing the change God has made to him. The man is NOT showing that he made a good choice because he did not make the choice. God decided to save that man before he created the universe, and he determined the day and the hour when he would do it. The believer then has things that he need to do to grow more trusting in God, and less trusting in himself. The video does a good job describing the things believers are told to do to grow stronger as servants of God.

    • @justinmertes
      @justinmertes 4 года назад

      Amen @deeznar. A theology professor of mine had this answer when someone asked "when were you saved:" "I was saved at three different times. I was saved in eternity past when God predestined me to be his elect. I was saved on the cross when Jesus bled and died for my sins. And I was saved on [month] [date], [year] when I repented of my sins and met God." What's great about this is the Triune nature. The Father predestines, the Son accomplishes, the Spirit applies. It's necessarily Trinitarian.

    • @deezynar
      @deezynar 4 года назад

      @@justinmertes The bible has passages where a believer tells non-believers to repent of their sins and trust in Jesus. The unsaved are incapable of trusting in Jesus without God saving them and giving them faith. Only after God does that does a person have a realization of his sinful predicament. In other words, repentance comes after salvation, not before. And repentance is a lifelong practice, it is not once and done. Many non-believers can list several things they are sorry for doing. Only the saved recognize even a portion of the debt they owe to God, and that Jesus' payment on the cross has paid for them if they believe it. It takes the Holy Spirit to show that to a person in a way that they accept as fact, and not a fairy tale. What I'm getting to is, when a non-believer hears, "Repent of your sins, and trust in Jesus," they belong to one of two groups. The groups are those who God had planned on saving right then, and those he did not. Those who are saved at that time are saved by God's actions to save them, not because they themselves responded positively. A moment earlier, they would have laughed at the suggestion that they should repent and trust in Jesus. Some people go through a process when God is beating on them, but the actual salvific change is not complied to by the individual. God does it without consent, or cooperation. God does not share his glory with anyone. However, he has been charitable to promise rewards to those believers who tell others of Christ's work.

      [ SPOILER ] - The significance of Mr. Bultitude, the animal massacre, and the subsequent destruction of the Head is a poetic tale of the "natural world" defeating the "scientific, material world." It is an argument against materialism and against humanity having the ability to perfect itself. Instead, it is the natural world which destroys the material world. No matter what sick twisted truths the materialistic, gnostic N.IC.E. believe to be true, they cannot change the natural world, nor can they run away from final judgement from God.
